Tea Party Treat

Growing up Popovers were a common treat at family gatherings with my mom’s family. Light, airy, bun filled with cool whip.

Earlier today I came across a recipe for Popovers. Oh, they sounded so good.

The mix came together quickly and smoothly… Dreamily smooth.

After they were put in the oven I began to work on the butter. I was ready to try something other than cool whip. The original recipe called for strawberry butter, I only had plums on hand.

Plum butter. Yum.

It was so smooth. And sweet. And creamy.

Plum Butter

1/2 plum, chopped into small pieces
1 stick butter, room temp.
1/4 cup powdered sugar

-cream butter and sugar until smooth.
-mix in plum chunks.
-chill until serve
