Sloppy Joe’s & Homemade Joys

The other night we enjoyed some sloppy joe’s for dinner. I cannot remember for the life of me where I found the recipe- but they were so, so good. The corn on the cob was a nice compliment. It made the meal feel like a good old fashioned bbq, except we sat inside, ate off fiesta-ware, and watched a movie while we ate. Maybe some day we will bust out a gingham table cloth and do things right. Until then, just enjoy these.

Sloppy Joes

1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup bbq sauce (I used a sweet & spicy one)
1/3 cup ketchup
1/8 cup worcestershire
1/8 cup soy sauce

-cook the ground beef, drain the fat
-add remaining ingredients, cook 10-15 min.
-serve on buttered, rolls

Yesterday, I completed some crafting projects. It felt so good to craft.

First I made another sign for my kitchen, to match my “EAT” sign and polka dot bunting.

I also worked on covering some notebooks, building up a little stash of them.

Lastly, I fixed some of my magnets, and made a few new ones.

Some are just wooden letters on magnets, some are buttons, a few are letters in bottle caps, and another is a button in a bottle cap.

A lot was accomplished yesterday. I crashed a little early, and feel asleep to the sound of rain outside my window. Happy Wednesday.
