Simplicity

I love coffee. There is just something about its creamy and smooth consistency as it sits in my purple mug every morning that just starts my day off with a thought that, “today will be alright.” Even more than my coffee telling me it will be a good day, I know my God reassures me of that in an even stronger way.

  His word says:

For his anger lasts only a moment,
    but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
    but rejoicing comes in the morning.

                                                                                                                                                    -Psalm 30:5

I know at the beginning of each new day I have a clean slate. A new day is before me that I can use to bring glory to God. Now that is a simple aspect to take joy in. My God gives me a new start each day.
